Haiti Appeal Bake Sale

14 October 2016

This week, as part of our Global Citizenship Curriculum, the children have been learning about the

devastation caused last week by Hurricane Matthew. We looked in particular at the plight of the

people of Haiti and how the hurricane has caused massive destruction to their country.

The children would like to raise money to support Haiti and we have therefore decided to hold a

cake and biscuit bake sale on Friday 21 st October. Some of the children will be baking in school next

week for the sale but we would be grateful for your help in also donating cakes and biscuits. These

could be left in school on Friday morning.

Cakes will be available for sale both before and after the harvest festival performance from 1.30 pm

onwards in the village hall.
